Residential Wind Power

Welcome! You no-doubt found yourself here because like me you want to know more about renewable energy on a residential scale but more directly, wind power.

You like me probably look outside and see the trees blowing around day and night and think to yourself…what if i could harness that energy and store it for my own clean, green use? Sure you could go for solar power – but that is only a viable energy source when the sun is shinning whereas the wind is blowing 24-hours a day.

Of course a major factor in wind power is your location. Indeed there are not many places on the planet that have no wind but some are just better suited to others when it comes to producing wind power. Having said that, there are some great designs entering the market that make the most of low-wind areas to produce some very impressive results. All of these things i will be aiming to cover in the residential wind power blog.
